Friday Night With Friends

What a lovely evening I had.... at Cheryll's... with you all... stitching & sewing... & enjoying Friday Night With Friends!
My work for the evening was to continue with a stitchery for my Polka Dot Girls quilt... this one is called 'My Sewing Chair'.
"My Sewing Chair" Red Brolly - Polka Dot Girls Quilt
Thanks for hosting us at the Cubbyhole, Cheryll... FNWF sets me up happily for the weekend!
You can go HERE to visit the blogs of other ladies who joined in...

Thanks to Sandie, I am well-informed that my zillion half print-half plain squares are called 'half square triangles'... another term to store somewhere in my head!
All those pretty shapes currently look like this...
I am making a very lovely pattern from Leanne's House called 'Charmed I'm Sure'... a table runner... a rather large one at that... measuring about 25" x 49" (or 64cm x 105cm)... but oh how pretty! The design features a sweet little stitchery, one in each of the 12 rows, I have done 3 of the 12.
The fabrics are Kate Spain 'Honey Honey'. I am finding it a little tricky to do the stitcheries with all the pieces sewn together first, a bit slow, but really loving it all the same.

Tonight I look forward to catching up on my favourite blogs... & if that means a very late night, well so be it!

Beautiful work on your stitcheries, it will be amazing when you sew them all together. Your new runner is lovely too.....I had to read back and check that the stitching wasn't on EVERY triangle.
