A Little Christmas Sewing & 'Great Backyard Project' Update

Thankfully I'm feeling almost back to 100% after feeling so lousy with my cold the other day... so I spent a little time yesterday doing a bit of Aussie-themed Christmas sewing... a fun & easy apron panel... it was so lovely to spend time sewing on Miss Pfaff just for the fun of it...

I've also been continuing to work on the Frangipani cross stitch, so I'll share a pic of that soon.

Beautiful Barb brightened yesterday for me... what a thoughtful lady you are Barb... it's proudly on display!

Great progress has been made on The Great Backyard Project this week, with the workshop & sewing room under construction since Monday... I now have my sliding glass door, insulation & outer framework! woo hoo!
Below is a pic of the whole building... hhmmm, surely my sewing is more important than mrHS little Alfa, maybe we should swap zones??!...

Early next week the electrical work will be done, in readiness for power points for my various needs.
It's all progressing in the right direction!

Wow - that's great progress! It won't be long before you're moving your sewing machine in. I'm glad you're feeling better; Christmas would be lousy with a cold.

Sorry that you have not been well - nothing worse than a cold this time of the year as I well know! Luckily mine was mild and almost gone by the time we got to UK. Anyway, glad that you are feeling better. TGBP is looking great and so exciting. The apron looks fun and I loved the little nutcracker ornament. xx
