One Flower Wednesday

The variety of fabrics that will become The Quilt of Forgotten Fabrics is... interesting... as can be seen from these two...

I've been through all the fabrics in the forgotten stash & found more that are simply too awful  to use. I'll be using, where possible, two flowers of each fabric in the finished quilt. I've made some other flowers this week, on the yukky fabric, using them to refine my stitching technique. I'm much happier with it now.

If you want to see a few more Autumn blooms, pop over to Journey Of A Quilter to see what else is in flower!

Beautiful flowers! The swirly flower reminds me of art class when we added paints to oil.

Nice! Bonnie Hunter says if you cut a fabric & its still ugly, you haven't cut it small enough!
