One Flower Wednesday... & A Parcel!

If it's raining or horrible weather where you are, I wish you some of the beautiful sunshine & gentle breeze I have here right now. 18°C, but beautiful outside.

Today's flowers for One Flower Wednesday are made from fabric that I bought in about 1990, to make a photo album cover.... as was the crafting trend back then. (Gah!)  Actually, I think the fabric is not that great, but it was in the bag of forgotten fabrics, so it's being used. I fear the sofa-throw that I make with all these is going to look like a bad taste convention!
To see some other very pretty flowers, that won't give you a headache to look at, pop over to Journey Of A Quilter where Karen hosts the weekly Garden Party of hexagon flowers...

Never fear, I have a new hexy project I'm starting soon... stay tuned...

I arrived home from taking my kids to school to find this...

...box for me... oh my goodness... it's from my lovely COLOUR Swap partner Carole at Serendipity, Raindrops & Roses...A Blessed Life. Carole, I will be very excited to open this, when I know that my parcel has arrived to you. How exciting!

Have A Fantastic Day!

Anthea you have turned that "gah" photo album cover that never materialized into two gorgeous flowers! Isn't it amazing how trends change and what we thought was fabulous a few years ago is so not cool now??? hahaha......
