Could This Be A Bloggers Meet At My Little Teahouse...?!

Ha, that very thought came into my head when I finished these four lovely ladies this morning!

I just have the little birdie to stitch atop the umbrella

My Little Teahouse is really such a pleasure to stitch...
In the last few days my back has been a little creakier than usual, and I've been a bit cold-y, so I've had some more time to sit quietly & stitch... I have a couple of small stitcheries to do, then I can start the construction of the bag itself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A few months back, I bought a DVD box set of the BBC series called "Lark Rise to Candleford". I started watching just one episode here & there a few weeks ago, but in the last fortnight have really got hooked! I do love a good period drama, and the storyline is better than a lot of current tv.
The main character is a girl from a small hamlet (Lark Rise), who moves to a bigger more prosperous town nearby (Candleford), working with her Aunt the Post Mistress. The series features the trials & joys of the various hamlet families, and also the snobbery of the Candleford residents. I recognise many people from other series & movies, most notably the actor who plays Bates in Downton Abbey.
Great Viewing!
Have a Fantastic Week
I'm keeping an eye out for that series lol. I agree that there is nothing on tv to really watch but surprisingly the ABC on Saturday night from 6pm-8.30pm isnt too bad. That Caribean detective show just keeps growing on us for some reason the more we watch it. Love your tea ladies and agree that they could be bloggers getting together lol
Take care as it's the season for bugs! Nothing nicer than to sit,sew and watch a good show... so perhaps feeling a LiTTle unwell is worth it! :)
I love the ladies under the umbrella's, well done! We have been TV free for over two years now and I don't miss it. But, I did see a season of Lark Rise to Candleford and loved it. As Miss Lane would say, it is my one weakness. :)
