I Got Goodies!

A lovely friend of  mine attended Urban Stitches on the weekend. She's an avid fan of all things Beasley, Dekker & Quinlan and had a hoot!

I did ask her to get me this....just in case I run myself out of thread while stitching
the Christmas Treasures Wreath

... and look what else she gave me upon her return...

Her daughter has been a wonderful friend to my two daughters for 6 years now, & I did a little bit of running around for her recently (while her mother was at Urban Stitches!), so the table runner pattern is thanks to me for doing that...I actually have that exact fabric in my Overload, so I look forward to making it.

Tonight I will do some more stitching on Christmas Treasures Wreath, and tomorrow I'll be tracing up something that's the beginning of a very big project for me, stay tuned...

On Sunday I am off to the football with my Dad, to see his beloved West Coast Eagles play my beloved Brisbane Lions at Subiaco Oval. I usually go the footy about once a season, & this is the perfect game for me. Simon Black is very good for my heart *winkwink*, so I will be cheering for the LIONS whilst sitting amongst hundreds of seasons ticket-holding Eagles fans...!

MrHS has been home all week with what the doc called the flu, it's all pretty nasty stuff, so I guess my footy plans could change depending on how he is closer to the time.

Have a Lovely Weekend!

What a lovely friend to bring back all the treasures.
Hope Mr HS is better by Saturday so you can take your Dad to the footy.

Its nice to receive such a wonderful thank you! Hope you got to the footy and hubby is on the mend without sharing his flu around to everyone else. My girls have both been off for the best part of a week with something nasty too.
