Spring Once-A-Season Swap

It was such a pleasure to make up a parcel of Spring-y goodies for my bloggy friend Fiona at Bubz Rugz, for the Once-A-Season Swap hosted by swap-mama Cheryll at Gone Stitchin'

Today Fiona has received my parcel so I can post pics...
I had been wanting to make up the wall hanging for ages, so what better time than now?! It's a Gail Pan design called In The Spring... I also made Fiona a zippy purse from the Sue Kim book Bags the Modern Classics... along with that some buttons, a cute pin tin, butterfly and some flower seeds...

Sorry I can't get the pic the right way up

I confess that I had become fond of the hanging, and loved to look at it hanging in my Sewing Space, waiting to be posted. (Would it be cheeky to make another to keep?!) Fiona's is one of the first blogs I started reading, well before I ventured into blogland myself, so it was fun to be making goodies for her now.

The weather is beyond ghastly here today, quite wild & so very cold. I have dinner organised (how did that happen?!) so I am just going to do some stitching and keep warm.
