Friday Night Sew-In For October

For this month's FNSI, I did what a few people do... that is, make somewhat of a day of it.
Yes I just fitted some cross stitching in between all the other doings of my day, a few minutes here & there adding up to some progress on 'Seaside Treasures'.

There has been a lot going on at HibiscusHQ this week, the highlight being Year 12 Graduation for one of my daughters. Proud Mummy Moment right there, and lots of wet Kleenex to prove it!!

It was lovely today to sit & reflect on it all... but I was so engrossed in those thoughts, that I didn't realise I had made two errors with my cross stitching! By the time I noticed, it would be too much unpicking, and now I've done a fair bit of that part of the design, I can't recall exactly where those errors are, so they can't be worth worrying about, right?!

Thank You Handmade By Heidi for hosting this slightly delayed edition of Friday Night Sew-In...

Now that I have finished all my 'secret sewing', I will  be pleased to start a new Polka Dot Girls Quilt stitchery for my evenings of stitching.
And also, over the weekend I hope to re-visit a project I started in February... now I have the confidence to do so. For now, I will be cryptic & say that "there is a first time for everything". Pics soon!

well done on your progress, and to your Yr 12 finishing. A big achievement, now to get through the exams and it's done.

lovely stitchery and you're right...if you can't remember where the error is it isn't worth re-doing!
