Some Christmas Stitching... Finishes & A Start...

Yesterday I put the finishing touches to these very cute Christmas decorations
from the Rosalie Quinlan Designs book Petit Noel...
it was tricky to get the filling right, & the fabric kept crinkling in the centre,  but I think they look ok now.

And my love for Gail Pan designs continues... I am ready to start stitching this sweet little wall hanging, Christmas Joys. I'm finding it very hard to find nice Christmas fabrics in my local stores this year, so I hope these fabrics will go ok with the design. And I will not be running out of thread this time!
*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*
It seems that quite a few of us creative people are doing all manner of 'secret sewing' & swap preparations, and are pushed for time at the moment... so here's a sentence I'd love you to finish:

When I'm sewing or stitching, I really should be...

For me, I really should be defrosting the freezer while it's relatively empty, and evicting the dust bunnies from under my sofas!!

Love those hearts. I muffed the seam allowance somehow when i did mine so i sewed them to background fabric & then stapled them over canvas frames. I have stitched Christmas Joy's as well. Love Gail's patterns too. :) Half the time i don't use Christmas fabrics just whatever i find that looks Christmassy to me. lol. Hugs,

... I really should be gardening in the vegie patch or painting something lol. Love your xmas designs and I do believe that the fabrics will be fine. I've been quilting and am about to attack the binding on my xmas booboo quilt. Well I know the booboos anyway lol.

At the moment your statement should be the other way around....when I am cleaning up after the ungrateful hoard, I really should be stitching and quilting!

Your Christmas hearts are beautiful! You did a lovely job of finishing them. Don't worry about those dust bunnies and the frost in the freezer - they aren't going anywhere so they'll be wait for you.

When I am sewing or stitching I really should be doing all sorts of things but most especially tidying the garden which we are way behind on this year!
Love your stitching Anthea - I would love to have time to make a few Christmas goodies but I don't know where it is all going this year!
