Another Family Milestone...

... and this milestone is for mr12, on Monday evening his class had their Year 7 Graduation. It was a beautiful Liturgy and a fabulous supper afterwards.
Well, I am a very proud and pleased Mum... he has had a great journey through Primary and has come a very long way from the little boy who played alone, didn't like glue or paint, and ate the same lunch every day for about 5 years.
This year he was one of the Student Council members and has done really well with his learning and sports. Most importantly to me, he is a respectful and fun-loving person who includes everyone.
Yes I cried last night, but they are joy and pride. I have some wonderful pics from the night, some of you may have guessed that I take a LOT of photos...
And I am really glad that school finishes on Wednesday... between everything, we will have attended 7 end-of-school events for just two kids...

On the stitching front, I have been picking up a Polka Dot Girls stitchery when I have time, and catching up on some recorded tv shows. "Love Actually" is on tv this week, I l-o-v-e this movie, I wonder if I will watch it yet again, I watch it every time it's on telly!
And I have noticed that my blog has had over 8000 views... What? Little old me?

Congratulations to Mr. 12. Going to high school is such an exciting time. Although it makes my head spin how quickly it all happens. I too will say I'm not watching Love Actually this week, and then sit through it and enjoy it all over again.......creature of habit.

What a wonderful milestone for Mr12 and you must be so proud of his achievements. Tonight I'm a guest at a Year 7 graduation dinner for a class that I taught when they were in year 2...sweet memories and I'm looking forward to seeing them all dressed up in their finery :-)

Congratulations to your son on his graduation. It's always a busy time of year, I am finding it hard to get much stitching also. Hugs....

Congratulations to you all. I was always envious of my WA friends who finished school one ear before I did!
I looove Bronwyn Hayes and also am planning on watching Love Actually too. Yes I will be picking up the stitching as I watch.

Well done Mr 12! It is getting to that time of year isn't it. Our girls don't know if they are required for awards night next week but I know Grace is singing and playing piano at it.

onward to high school! These graduation events can be quite moving, watching our babies make their way through their life stages.

well why wouldn't "Little Ole You" have lots of hits? Your posts are interesting and well, you are just a nice person! Cherish these years with your children...they grow up so fast....but, of course, then they "reward" you with grandchildren who can do no wrong!.....lol...

Congratulations to your son, its a big thing going to High school, we are going through the same thing with our youngest son, he had an awards nights on Tuesday and he received a certificate and a $30 cheque, he was very happy. Our little boys grow up too fast don't they.

Congratulations to Mr12. We have just attended our MissB's University graduation but I still remember the end of primary school for her...the years go too fast (though sometimes the weeks drag - how is that?)
