Mother's Day Mini & A New Project...

I have participated for my first time in the 12" Mini Quilt Swap... theme this time was for Mother's Day.

I made a mini for Anna & she has sent me a gorgeous e-note to say that it has arrived to her & that she loves it.
I confess to feeling a bit nervous, because Anna doesn't blog, but Swap Mama Cheryll was able to provide me with a couple of useful tips, thanks for that...

I love the pink fabric, it's been waiting to see the light of day!
Not a good pic, sorry
So glad you like the Mini Quilt Anna!
Now to stalk Mrs Postie while I wait for mine to arrive:)

Thanks to Cheryll for once again organising such a great swap... If you like seeing the various 12"  minis that are made & sent, why not drop in to Gone Stitchin' & check out all the info about joining in?!

Last year I made a bag for a swap... remember THIS ??
I fell badly & madly in love with that bag... the design, the fabrics I chose, the whole thing... That bag now lives with Deb at Frog Cottage .
I decided back then to make one for myself... so look what I got started on the weekend...
I am trying to at least do some house chores each day, before I do a bit more on the bag... but... well.. you know what it's like when you are loving a project...

I say bugger the housework - I guarantee it will be there tomorrow! Although I guess that's the problem, right?

Love the mini :)

You know what my opinion is when choosing between home chores and fun, so I won't bore you, lol. Good of you to make a small effort domestically :) Gorgeous mini, Anna must be thrilled. Hope the bag doesn't gather dust while you, well, dust and so forth :)

That is a wonderful mini you have made. I know someone who is getting a frame for her birthday in 17 days time lol. So I am loving the inspiration for mini quilts I am seeing on blogs. Looking forward to seeing your new bag too.
