Scraping In For Wednesday...

When I hit 'publish' on this post it will still be Wednesday... just!
I have surprised myself by stitching together two hexagon flowers in recent days... sorry no garden-y background...
The little snails are so cute, another of my 'Maria fabrics'... I call them that because my bloggy friend Maria is fond of using fabrics for her hexy flowers that have cheeky animals or cute images...
To see some more pretty flowers, pop on over to Karen at Journey Of A Quilter who hosts the One Flower Wednesday Garden Party linky...

I've made some great progress with my Christmas In July swap preparations, and look forward to the machine sewing part of things when my back has stopped giving me so much grief... not fun:(

At the Craft Fair the other weekend, one of my many purchases was a Q-Snap embroidery frame... when I opened the pack to use it, there were only 3 sides/parts in the pack, not 4... I called the business, the lovely lady said "yes no problem I will mail that part to you"... So what arrived to me today? a whole new frame... is that wonderful service or what?!

That is excellent service. Love the hexies and especially love the snail. I too am starting the preparations for the xmas swap. I have everything written down that I want to include in my sack and have started tracing out things. Hope your back gets better very quickly too.

Cute little hexie flowers. That is incredibly good service....nice to know you can still get it somewhere, although I do find the majority of patchwork stores to be excellent.

Hi Anthea,
Love the snail fabric, really cute. I would like to bring to your attention that something is wrong with your computer....it prints the word "many" really small. I noticed it in your recent post. Why is that? lol giggle giggle.
Cheers, Anita.
