I'm Giving In...

So much of the woolly-looking stuff on a lot of my favourite blogs... so I am relenting & am going to do some myself... I have had a Beast of a time with my back this week, so now that I am at least able to sit for longer than 10 minutes, it will be nice to spend some time working on a new scarf... not that my knitting skills are anything to get excited about...LOL
Thank you so much to everyone who offered me such support & really valuable tips regarding how I can get organised with my long-term projects. I confess that I was in a bit of a low when I wrote that post, so I'm sorry if it read a bit dreary...(it's what pain does to ya!!)
It seems that quite a few of my readers found the Comments helpful too, which is great.

Ok, gotta get up & move around a little, I can feel myself getting stiff...
School holidays next week - yippee - I do love the break

Love the wool that has tempted you!
it looks gorgeous.
Hope your back improves and doesn't get you down again.
I have just finished the first week of our school holidays, don't know where that went!

Oh dear, I have a bad back too at the moment Anthea, it's a right pain when you just want to get on with some machine stitching..........but you have some lovely yarn there and I always find knitting is a great way to relax when you're feeling out of sorts........ hope your back feels better soon.

Know exactly how you feel. Did mine yesterday while up a ladder trying to get a heavy box down and felt it pull when I twisted to pass it down to Sarah. Stupid me should have waited for Lance to get home. Well I'm now happily working away on another pair of socks with a heatpack to warm up the offending muscle. Knitted this time and am looking forward to seeing your scarf. Wool is so addictive! lol

Gorgeous yarn :) Lots of lovely advice by everyone in the last post :) The small hand projects are great for times like now, when you aren't up to, well, being 'up' much, giggle. Hope it eases off a little more for you, it is hard to be cheerful when in such pain :)
