FNWF for May... A Late Report

Busy weekend means not much computer time... & a late update of my activity for
Friday Night With Friends. Thank you Cheryll for hosting us again!
I want to get my Frangipani cross stitch to a particular stage, before I put it away for a little while to focus on other projects. It's very enjoyable to work on, but of course I also like things that progress a little quicker too😉
FNWF saw me add the petal up the top of the flower & also the blue stitching down along the bottom right.
There's actually 6 colours in that petal; yes, the shading is really good!
The petal is a bit hard to see, given the colour of the background fabric.
I know cross stitch doesn't appeal to everyone, but I really do love it.

Don't forget that the linky for Piece Yourself Together will be open Tuesday to Thursday... if you've got any EPP on the go, I'd love to see it!

LOL! I just posted my FNWF, too. And I LOVE cross stitch, so keep it coming. Your flower is beautiful. I know how hard it is to stitch when the thread color matches the fabric. Have fun.

Your cross stitch is lovely! Once upon a time, I would spend hours cross stitching. Haven't picked one up in years, but I remember how relaxing it was.

That's a gorgeous cross stitch Anthea - considering how slow cross stitch can be you got a lot done!
