When I sew I cart my project around in a fabric lined cane basket as it is usually stitching in the car or at my mothers house. Knitting or crochet has a special knitting bag I made from crazy patchwork and some old buttons and laces belonging to an elderly aunt of hubby's who passed away so it has special meaning to me. It is nice and bright and will nicely frame the quilt. The bag I take to my groups stitching days is one that is a Leanne Beasley design which was made for me in a swap from a lovely lady in NZ. I cherish it and think of her every time I pick it up.
