Piece Yourself Together!

This is a twice-monthly linky for those of us who enjoy English Paper Piecing (EPP).

Whether you play with a few shapes here & there, or you're slowly working towards a once-in-a-lifetime creation... if you're a beginner or have been doing EPP for years... or maybe you need a re-boot on your project... you're welcome to join in.
All shapes, sizes & projects are welcome!

On the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month, I'll have a linky tool available in my right-hand sidebar, so you can link up & show us your wonderful shapes & projects... whatever stage they're at.
The linky will be open from 6am on the Tuesday, closing at midnight on the Thursday, Western Australian Standard Time.
Link up as often or as little as you like, & I hope you'll visit the other links too.

Thanks for popping by & if you love your EPP I hope you'll join me here.
Of course you're welcome to copy the button & link it to this page.

Here are the dates for the first half of 2018:

  9 January & 23 January
13 February & 27 February
 13 March & 27 March
 10 April & 24 April
8 May & 22 May
 12 June & 26 June

Currently, I'm working on a long term project I've called the Super Scrappy Hexy Quilt... making it from bits & pieces that were in my Overload... it's taking ages, it's slow, but I love how it's taking shape.
I also like to make little Christmas ornaments with smaller hexy's, & use EPP to embellish small projects like needlebooks.
I post regular updates of these things, right here on the blog!
Everyone has their own methods & ideas with their EPP...
HOWEVER, if you've never done EPP & would like to learn, please let me know & I'll be able to provide you with some links to great tutorials to get you started.

So... get out your shapes &
Piece Yourself Together!

Happy days.

I think I'll join in Anthea. I've been wanting to make hexies for ages and keep putting it off....like Bev I think, it's a bit scary! But I have some templates, so now will make a start.

Hi there,
Yes... Thank you for helping get out my EPP and begin again. I love the solitude that comes from this sort of peaceful hand work. I'm going to start following your blog.

Just found this page-- what a great idea. I love EPP-- may get me started on a new project ( or better still-- I should get out the one that I put aside about 4 years ago!)

I see you've had this linky party for EPPs for a while. I'm glad I just found you, even if I have missed several months of seeing what y'all are working on.
I've done EPP for several months now. Certainly no expert but I do enjoy the handwork. I"m in the midst of finishing my first "Summer Rose". Photo soon!

I can't figure out the link. I have been EPP for the last year. I'd love to share and also want to see what others are doing.

Hello Anthea, I am new to EPP, and love doing the hand work. As I read more about EPP, am noticing some folks stitch around the template and others use the glue.
Which is better, and how difficult is it to use those small diamond shapes.

I love your blog and will be following. Thank You BeBe Oli.
