It's time to link your Christmas Through The Year item for the month!
There is a bit of Christmas sewing going on around Blogland at the moment, so I hope you will be able to link up with me. If you are not familiar with CTTY, please go to the tab at the top of my blog where you will find all the information you need to know.
My Christmas gift item this month is a simple & beautiful bookmark.

I purchased it as a kit & stitched it about 2 years ago (I think!), but didn't want to finish it as per the instructions... so it has sat in my box of unfinished items for all that time... until I had a revelation at 4am Sunday morning!! I just love the look of that cottage, & those flowerbeds bursting with colour, you might even be able to make out the white picket fence...
The technical info is that it's stitched on 18-Count Aida, & every square inside the yellow-gold border is stitched... yes, every single square! I'm only now just remembering how fiddly it was...
(Cheeky me, this is also going into my Sew It's Finished count for the month)
There's a lovely cheery prize for one participant this month... Three fat quarters, don't you love the clever 'selvedge' print?! Plus a sweet pre-printed design from The Birdhouse, great for making a quick & easy Christmas decoration for your home... or for next month's CTTY!
