This & That...

I am so pleased with how these pretties turned out... one is going in the Birthday-Love Stash, and the other is for Christmas Through The Year. the design is from the great book 'Bags The Modern Classics', & is called Wristlet Zipper Purse.

My brown-eyed flowers continue to bloom... the flower on the left is fabric that was used as gift wrap from Peg last year.
You can visit other flower gardens with Karen at Journey Of A Quilter, and while you are there do take a look at her recently finished hexagon flower quilt top, it's incredible...

The Tea Party Table Runner is progressing slowly... it's a great project to potter with in the evenings while watching telly.

Speaking of telly, gosh it just breaks my heart to see in the news... the scale of natural disasters going on in our Fair Country right now... it's great too see so many different assistance efforts happening... but angers me to see on Perth news that a large rock was tossed from a bridge, thus shattering the window of a fire truck on its way to a bushfire in Perth's outskirts, what are people thinking?!
All of this reminds me to keep my own complaining in perspective, & encourages me to look outside my own life & comforts, which I am so blessed to have.

~~~Happy Wednesday~~~
Those purses are great. Love the black and white. Also love the progress on your hexies. I feel for everyone facing these fires and floods and can't believe how stupid a very small minority can act!
Love your bags. The hexies are lovely too. I'm not sure why people have to do things that cause harm especially to those who devote their time helping others. Should be given harsher penalties when they are caught. Hugs.....
I especially love the table runner - the centres look so cute! Generally I think a lot of these people - if caught - get off too lightly!
Lovely work Anthea.
The world can be a very sad place unfortunately. We can only hope and pray for better times.
