Beautiful Easter Swap Gifts & An Egg-y Finish

I have been so fortunate to make some great bloggy friends, one of them is Leanne - Lizzie the Quilter.

Earlier in the year, Leanne suggested we do a swap between the two of us for Easter, & we agreed on a 'Natalie Bird' theme, as we both love her designs.

Leanne's parcel arrived to me on Wednesday, after some considerable angst about how long it was taking to arrive from Tasmania to WA...

Take a look at what Leanne has gifted me...

 A gorgeous cushion featuring a design from 'Sweet Sentiments', & sewn with Fig Tree fabrics (I love Fig Tree!)... wonderful bunny applique on a fold-over bag... some very pretty fq's & mini charms... and fruity infusion drinks.

I had received some terrible news that day, so the delivery of this parcel gladdened my heart.

During the week I finished this very pretty Easter ornament...

the stitching is done mostly with one thread (yes!) & because it's small, I found it quite fiddly, but wow I am thrilled with the finished item...
