This evening for Friday Night With Friends, I couldn't really decide what to do, so I thought a Lucky Dip could be interesting... just go push my hand into my box of kits & unfinished projects, & bring out whatever touched my fingers... what fun!
I kept a piece of fabric left over from a project last year, to make a table runner/centre from it... just something simple & pretty. Unfortunately, I had to change my idea on the shape of it after an incorrect cut with the rotary blade...
You can see I am no expert in the way I have it layered, pinned, taped and ready to quilt...
Shocking pic, sorry! |
It will probably measure about 25 inches by 21 inches when it's finished.
I'm also doing some sewing with this cute little fellow... oh, are they chocolate-flavoured carrots?!
I look forward to spending time over the weekend, visiting others who took part in this evening.
Thanks Cheryll for hosting this great monthly event of Friday Night With Friends

I to can't wait to see your project, cute little bunny.
Its not always the method that counts but the end result. What a gorgeous bunny.
Cute bunny and what's wrong with chocolate covered carrots!! Love the spotty fabric.

Oooo, cute polka dots!
Lucky dip sounds like a fun way to go about it :)
I'm glad someone else does that Anthea, cuts wrong & so has to change the pattern. I seem to be a habitual offender. That bunny is so cute & choc carrots do sounds appetising! Tracee xx

Hi Anthea,
