Making Gifts & A Bit Of Blue...

Today I am linking up with Kim at Lily Patch Quilts who hosts Christmas Through The Year... I have made two Wide-Open Zipper Pouches, which I intend to keep together & fill with co-ordinating goodies in the coming months. Yay, more items for my Christmas Box!

I have made two others as well, and intended them for the Christmas Box also, but when I was taking these pics I realised that the zips are not same colour... so these are going to the Birthday-Love Stash, & will be gifted  individually.
I was very surprised to find these Red Rooster fabrics in a local shop, I do so love the designs & colours. These pouches have been made from a fantastic tutorial I found HERE,... yes, they are so addictive & easy to make... no the zip is not scary!

The Blue De-Sensitising continues, with the completion of a sweet little project... I just adore this design from Gail Pan, & have made her Red Cottage Pincushion in blue scraps left over from sewing for Pat. It's a very easy make, I did the stitchery one night & the remainder the next day. It measures approx 4" x 7".
(Red Cottage Pincushion, Gail Pan)
This one is going in the Birthday-Love Stash... gosh I am not so advanced in my blue therapy that I would keep it!

Now it's time for a delve into the KARTS*, & choose from one of the many projects that have languished too long... there are plenty to choose from!

Lovely pouches, and bonus to stash for both Christmas and Birthday ;) Well done on still using your blue, not really my colour of choice either, lol, but the pincushion has turned out very cute :)
