FNWF & July Report...

I was not good company last night...it took a fair bit of tough self-talk to get myself into doing... guess that's what a tiring week & monster headache does to a girl... I've had a throat 'thing' for over a week now & sound like a cross between Darth Vader & Rod Stewart after a big night out, not good!! Doesn't hurt, just raspy & foggy & annoying... silly thing... at least it is slowly improving, but not quick enough...

I decided to start this...
Nice & easy, no colour changing & all that... earlier in the week, I thought I needed a break from making Christmas-themed things, but that didn't last long, did it?! ...golly, I have become a serial starter!
Not a lot done, but it's better than nothing... it will be my 'stitch when my brain can't cope with anything else' project...
It's great to see so many of us spending our Friday Night With Friends... why not stop by the cubbyhole at Gone Stitchin' to what everyone else got up to last night... (plus, there are beautiful sigh-worthy GrandBaby pics!...) thanks Cheryll for having us...
*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*
July was a quiet-ish month for me in terms of stitching & sewing...I do have 5 finishes for One Project A Month... & not a single finish for Sew It's Finished... I just ran out of month...

Beautiful sunshine here today, great for the washing... hope you all have a great weekend & get to do something enjoyable... I'm doing something great tomorrow!

It will be lovely when finished Anthea. As a sufferer of migraines for most of my life, I now don't seem to get them but I still remember how bad they can be. Hope you will be feeling better soon. Big hugs.....

Darth Vader & Rod Stewart....I can't help it, that made me laugh. Though I know it's not funny to have you voice mess up.

Your project looks like it's going to be lovely. That's a Nordic design isn't it?

lovely new cross stitch design. I love one colour stitching, so much easier.
Hope you recover from your bug, or we will have to call you Darth Stewart?

Nice cross-stitch design. I used to do cross-stitch until it got too hard to see the placement of those little stitches. I liked stitching on linen. Now I'm a serial starter too but of quilting projects. Hope that throat gets better soon and those headaches need to be GONE!.
