This & That... & A New Swap...

I've not been doing a lot of sewing or stitching, but enjoying the little of it, all the same...

The cliff/dune are of my Seaside Treasures is proving to be a challenge, that's the brown & green coloured blob (not quite finished) at the top right of the stitched area...so many colours to use, but the end result will be worth my painstaking care...
Last night I spent some time stitching a bit more of my Redwork Noel... see some of the little cottages are easily recognisable now... I can feel already that this is going to be so gorgeous...
And a flower, for One Flower Wednesday... you can see some more at the linky HERE...

Lovely Kim at Lily Patch Quilts is hosting a fun swap... Why not pop over HERE to get the info you need... I'm joining in... it's not a secret swap & you just might make a New Bloggy Friend!!
*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*
I have no work days booked in the next few weeks, so I now have two more days in my week, Yay! (And, no more exposure to the colds & coughs of the students, for the time being, phew!) Of course there will be sewing, stitching & begrudgingly some garden work. I am finally getting some wonderful new shelving for my Sewing Space, which will be perfect for helping me keep my patterns & mags organised, & within easy reach. Currently they are stored in tubs with lids - not at all easy to get to - so shelves will have me smiling a big goofy grin!

Lastly, I am so pleased to see two of my Bloggy Friends IN PRINT!!!
Yes, the current issue of Patchwork & Stitching Magazine features Leanne (Lizzie The Quilter) & her very pretty pillow... and Wendy (Sugarlane Designs) with a great fishing journal for the Angler...
These are debut designs for both Leanne & Wendy, & I am so doing a Happy Dance for you, my friends! (good thing you can't see me, LOL)

Your cross stitching is looking fabulous. The beach scene certainly has lots of shading detail. Your hexie looks great. I considered the zippy swap but I don't feel I can keep to a deadline. I will keep an eye out for the show and tell. Congratulations to Wendy and Leanne for being published.

Lovely purple hexie flower. I used to love doing cross-stitch but it got too hard to see the holes in the fabric. Yours is gorgeous. Can't wait to see your finishes.
