Sept CTTY Winner & Some Sewing

I do apologise for the delay in announcing the winner of the gorgeous prize for September Christmas Through The Year...
the laptop of one DD is at the Computer Doctor, so she has taken over the home computer for now...

Danette (Quilting Chemist) & Sandie (Crazy'Bout Quilts) - who are CTTY regulars - have also done some Christmas gift sewing; Danette just missed linking up but you can see her CTTY sewing at her blog... Sandie didn't link up because her sewing is some 'secret' gift sewing & doesn't want to spoil the surprise for her recipient.

Earlier in the week, I sewed a million of these... well, it felt like a million, as I have never done them before... it was really only 36 squares each of print & white sewn together...
Clever people will know what these squares are called... I have no idea, & my pattern doesn't say it either...
And boy, did I get covered in those little bits that come away from the pinked edges!

I am enjoying the project that I am making with them, & an update will be blogged over the weekend... & hopefully I will get a chance to do some 'blog reading catch up' too!
