Friday Night Sew-In for November

What a tonic it was to do some sewing today... knowing that other ladies were also joining in with FNSI... I've had a beastly week, so this was just perfect timing!
Wendy has excelled herself yet again, having 40-odd... (or is that 40 odd?!)... ladies at her blog for some stitching & fun... thanks Wendy, you're a gem! x

I finally made a start on my 'Happy' runner, the very pretty design from Jenny of Elefantz... all the applique is fused & stitched in place, & the stitcheries are ready to start.

There wasn't much on telly during the evening, so a DVD was in order... something light... the great Aussie movie Strictly Ballroom was fun to watch while adding a few more crosses to my Redwork Noel...

You can go HERE (at the bottom of a long post!) to see the list of other ladies who joined in the cyber-stitch-party... thanks again Wendy♥

Yesterday I put the last stitches to my final item of Christmas swap sewing...
Great feeling... but golly, I have been inspired... sprouting some ideas in my head about more things I want to make... isn't it often the way?! I thoroughly enjoyed the making of each item, & teaching myself a few new things along the way.
