Friday Night With Friends...

So pleased that Friday Night With Friends is going to continue for 2014!
In preparation for Australia Day in a few weeks, I thought some fun Aussie bunting would be in order... panel from good old Spotlight... these won't be hanging outdoors... all sewn in a couple of hours!

one side of the flags
 and the other
I made them double-sided so it looks great from any angle!
After a couple of hours sewing, some liquid refreshments were needed...
Very refreshing indeed!

Thank You Cheryll for hosting this great sew-in♥

Very nice! Do you always prepare ahead of time? I'd be working on it the night before I needed it.

I think your bunting is to die for!! I don't usually shop at Spotlight but miss M wants to go there today so I might have a peek through the craft fabrics to see if I can find the same one....and be a copy cat!

I love to drink hard cider when I quilt. Your bunting is so bright and cheery, my hubby used to live in Australia and he just explained to me that Australia Day is like our 4th of July. The bunting will be a lovely decoration. I am visiting from FNWF.

Your bunting looks great. I wonder if our Spotty has it - might need to go look. Oh no, another reason to go shopping - how will I cope. lol.

Drats!! I missed FNwF's!!! I'll try for the next one. Just love your banner and you've given me a great idea Anthea. I have had some left over bits of Australiana material and had no project for them.....I do now. Thanks for the inspiration.
Cheers, Anita.

I love the bunting... so pretty! It was so nice to see the flags on green grass... in my neck of the woods, they'd be laying in snow!
