Hey Maria...

Snap!
Pics taken at 3.45pm...
Now I have a small understanding of how awful it's been for our friends in other parts of Australia...

The spiders came out of their hidey-holes to get some air in this terrible heat, but sadly all they got was death... mr13 has been committing mass Arachnicide... having a lot of fun doing that!
I had no idea so many of the little critters were living in the nooks of my patio... ghack!

The weather station has one thing wrong... the Tendency is definitely NOT rain... it's been reading up to 48° at times...

If you want to know why this post is so-named... go check out this post from my bloggy buddy Maria...

Those poor spiders, I love them, but not in the house just out in the garden. For the dry tropics we have had a relative cool day today. Good for stitching.

Yep, its a stinker!! I ventured out once to have a water gun fight with my son, but quickly came back into the air con. I didn't notice any spiders though, might have to go back out and check.
Keep cool.

Lucky you have a MR 13 and not a miss - probably
it was hot here before but not that bad - hope you have a decent air con.

That's way too hot for this girl - how do you manage. Poor spiders. :D

So hot, no wonder the spiders were coming out. My sewing room was 45 last Saturday, but I didnt stay in long enough to check for spiders or creepy crawlies coming out. Hope you get a drop in temp very soon.
