Yes indeed it was... I took a drive about 40mins away, & met up with my gorgeous blogging buddies
We spent some time looking at a lovely display of quilts & other items made by the
Rockingham Patchwork & Quilters Group... & then wandered across the road to the Dome for some delicious lunch & coffee... AND plenty of chatting!
While there was not a big number of quilts to see, by golly they were all just beautiful... above is a block some of you will recognise... it's from Angel's Story, an Anni Downs design... I gave that one my 'viewer vote'...
Below is another one some of you know... the Glacial Star Quilt... this one was made in batiks... just beautiful!
We also saw some gorgeous table runners, small wall hangings, & a few chooks...
so this one is especially for Chookyblue...
Lunch was next on the agenda... so we trotted across the road to the Dome Cafe... Julia & Maria are such wonderful company I could have sat there all afternoon!
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the creations on display, & of course catching up with these two gorgeous ladies... thanks girls xo

You may have noticed the WA flag up the top left of my blog... We were discussing today that it would be great to meet/hear from some WA bloggers... organise Get-Togethers sometimes... go to events together... that sort of thing...
*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*
Just a reminder that I will be drawing the name for the next stitcher of the Travelling Pattern on Monday... there is still time to enter HERE if you wish...
If you have your name in the draw & you are a 'no reply' blogger, please make sure you check back here then, as I have no way of contacting you directly.
Aaahhh, I have a three-day weekend ahead of me, yeee-hah!!
