~*~CHRISTINE~*~
Well Done Christine (McDonald's Patch) & as I have your mailing address already, I'll be popping a little something in the mail for you this week!
*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*
With the work days I have had lately, & all the usual demands, I've not done much stitching... BUT I have finished stitching all the binding for my Postage Stamp Quilt! Yay me!
And it looks fabulous, even if I say that myself...
I want to make a label for it, but I am not sure what sort of information I am supposed to put on a quilt label, so if anyone has any advice or tips for me, I'd really appreciate that.
When mrHS had his oral surgery a few weeks ago, I took some stitching with me for the day... great for when there is lots of sitting around to be done. She is the second stitchery for my Tis The Season quilt; TTS is my long-term project for participating in the '1 Xmas Item A Month' blog.
Isn't she cute?! I might even start on the next stitchery some time this weekend...
Oh, I have been forgetting that I also made two Easter mini quilts... one of them was sent away today to my secret partner for the Mini Quilt swap... the other is staying with me because it's a cute design I've wanted to make for ages! I'll be able to share pics when I know that my parcel has reached its new home.
Oh I am glad I remembered about making them, or else it would be very little to share indeed!
♥Thanks for popping by & I hope you have a lovely weekend♥

Your little Christmas Angel is adorable!!! The colour looks great & the design is just lovely :)
Your Angel is so cute! On my quilt labels I always put my name and the date. Then if I have made it for someone I add their name or I might put the name of the quilt design. At the moment I am doing a label for a wedding present so I am putting the date of the wedding and their names. Hope that helps. xx
Your Christmas Angel is cute - bet she was fun to stitch. Look forward to seeing your Easter mini quilts.
Your Christmas Angel is soooooo cute!!!
Congrats to Christine...love your angel...
Beautiful stitchery.
Congrats Christine on your win. Lovely stitching and a cute angel.
the angel stitchery is one of my favourites from the tts designs, well done on your binding getting finished! woo hoo!
As for the label that is quilter's thinking for sure. I just put my name the year and the style of the quilt. If it is a gift I put the recipient's name too. This is all providing I remember to make a label?
Congrats to our lovely Christine and how cute is your angel.xx
Those little Tis The Season stitcheries are just lovely. Your angel looks lovely.

Cute little stitchery! And yes, I want to see your postage stamp quilt again now that it's finished!
those are cute stitcheries.... I am not very good about labels unless when I am giving a quilt away... in which case I put who it is for and who it is from (me) and the date... some people like to add a story with name of quilt, style, fabrics, designer etc... your quilt.. I reckon you put whatever you want on it...

Lucky Christine for being the winner. Love the little Xmas stitchery.
Oh Christine wins again... lucky duck! Nice stitchery too! :)
Congrats to Christine. It's always good to squeeze in a few stitches, even when we are busy. I usually put my name, the start/finish date (or year), the name of the recipient if it's a gift, and my location at the time. I also keep a quilt diary with more info about the design and size etc. hope that helps a bit.
I finished Tis the Season very early this year. It doesn't matter how many time I see the stitcheries I love them to pieces. Seeing yours I think I could do it all over again.......
Lovely stitchery !!

Love the Christmas Angel, The label for the quilt, you need only put your name and date unless giving it as a gift and you could also add their name etc.
