CTTY Winner & What I've Been Doing...

It seems that at the moment I have CADD... that would be Crafting Attention Deficit Disorder... jumping from one project to another... starting new ones when others need to be finished... it's not my usual way of doing things!
I have not yet got back to the beautiful fabrics I had to abandon when mr13 had his 'thing'... but I have at least been doing a little of this & that...

For a start I did sew my CTTY item for April; it's very simple & as I will be pairing another item with it for next month, it will end up being a great little package when Christmas comes around...
Thank you to the ladies who joined me for "Christmas Through The Year", you've made some gorgeous gifts... I hope my readers have gone to see your blogs...Narelle over at Pins & Whiskers also made a gift item, but just missed out on linking it here.
The winner of the little prize for this month's CTTY is
Watch out for your postie Cheryll, there's a little parcel on its way:)

In recent weeks I have resumed work on my Polka Dot Girls stitcheries... I am ashamed how many times I have stalled on this one, but I won't be giving up on it!
My Tis The Season stitcheries are on track, according to the commitment I made to myself in January (which was to stitch at least one each month)... Somehow I have managed to stitch two designs since Easter! They are so easy, & these two only took a couple of evenings to do... a great addition to my long-term project for '1 Xmas Item A Month'...
A few months ago, I purchased a chart for a gorgeous Easter cross stitch... golly I was not good at waiting until another cross stitch was finished, & I started on this one during the week before Easter... of course there is still back stitch outlining to do, which will really bring it to life!
I am just realising that I have quite a few hand-stitching projects on the go at the moment... quite a few! Which is a good thing because I have a few work days at the moment, & therefore very little time for getting on the Pfaff... or any blog-reading either... my day off on Wednesday is looking good for both of those activities...

Before I go, I want to say Thank You from the bottom of my heart for so many messages of care for mr13... it really was a worrying time for the whole family... isn't it so disempowering when you can't just wave your Motherly hand & fix a situation??... He is doing very well & showing no ill-effects from what happened... Thank Goodness!

You have made a lot of lovely rhings so it doesn't really matter if you do a bit of this and that out of order. If we stuck to the one project all the time we would get bored. I am so pleased that your DS is doing so well now and that you can relax. It is hard for us mums. Angel Hugs.
