Thank you so much Cheryll (Gone Stitchin') for having us all at yours last night for FNWF... so much warmer than earlier in the evening, when I was freezing my butt off pitch-side at mr13s soccer game!
My Polka Dot Girls must be happy to be seeing the light of day a bit more, after suffering so much neglect... I have started work on the big stitchery for block 4... golly I had quite forgotten that it's a slow process when stitching letters & words, or am I just slow?!... got to get them just right... this one is such a sweet design, so I look forward to seeing it come to life...
If you are new to the concept of Friday Night With Friends, Cheryll has a great page here on her blog with everything you need to know ... you might like to join us next month!
I am going to be spending a bit of time this weekend cutting (& maybe sewing!) some fabrics for a new project & also doing a bit more of that PDG stitchery...
I hope your weekend will be one of relaxation, & an opportunity to spend a little time doing something you love, what ever that may be♥

Lovely stitching Anthea. I always find the words slow going. I do them first....a bit like eating the vegies you didn't like when you were a child Lol!
I love those Polka Dot Girls but yes, I am slow with letters too....infact all stitcheries take me F.O.R.E.V.E.R

hope you get to do lots more stitching over the weekend...
Wow! So it may not be us sewing slowly it could be that sewing is a slow process. I like that... :o))
Love your new block... it's worth taking your time to get it 'just right' :o) Hugs.....
You've just reminded me I bought this charming pattern too. Maybe you will inspire me to stitch it one day.
I hope your weekend is going well with plenty of cutting and sewing going on! (yaay, a new projects!) Your Polka Dot Girls block is going to be so nice - yes, I seem to be a slow stitcher too but I know I am particular about my stitches!!
Popping in from FNWF, the stitchery is looking great
Lovely stitching Anthea. We only have one footy match today as Austin has a bye. I'm on canteen so I'll be nice and warm behind the baymarie (don't know how to spell it)!
was fun to sew together.... I also find words very slow to get through... all those little curves!
Hugz
I hate doing letters but it will be well worth the effort when you get it done
Looking great
It was fun having you over...and any amount of stitches help! Enjoy the weekend!
It sounds like a lot of us find the words slow to stitch, because I do too. I think it is all the stopping and starting, and the curves which have to be just right to make the letters readable. Your work is looking beautiful.
Super pretty stitchery!
Thanks for sewing with me on Friday night, your stitching is lovely on PDGs x
Love your stitchery block. Hope you get everything done that you have planned this weekend.
Great plug...Anthea ... So thanks!

Love your Polka dot girls Anthea
Hi Anthea, I love your stitchery. I am a very slow stitcher, so I just tell myself that any progress is better than none at all!
Love your Polka dot girls Anthea and great stitching..
Julia ♥
Your block looks lovely, such a pretty design. xx
Gorgeous stitching that you are working on..
Your stitchery is gorgeous Anthea. It does take ages to stitch words & lettering doesn't it? Those frangipanis are gorgeous too. I had frangis this colour in my wedding bouquet. Are they from a tree you own? Cheers, Tracy x
