WINNER of 'Craft Fair Goodies'... Plus ChookShed Party

THANK YOU so much to everyone who entered the draw to win the goodies!
It was lovely to hear from so many readers & I welcome new visitors too...

The lucky winner is...
Well Done Kim, I'll be putting your Goodies in the mail soon!
*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~*
I've had a brilliant weekend so far... I say 'so far' because it's a public holiday weekend here in Western Australia, so Monday is a day off too!
Why 'brilliant'?? I have been cutting & sewing like a mad woman... making progress on two different projects.
What's also brilliant is that my beloved Brisbane Lions AFL team had their second win for this season... but I digress...

This weekend Chookyblue (of Secret Santa Christmas Swap fame) is celebrating two years in her Chookshed, & she invited all of her blog readers to join in whichever way they liked... so I have set myself up on a kind of stay-at-home retreat.
(You can visit here to see what the other party animals ladies got up to)

On Friday I pieced together two more blocks for my Quilting Gallery Breezy Beginner Sampler Quilt...

Block 4 Double Monkey Wrench

Block 5 Friendship Star
Here are the first five blocks all together...
Now I'm just having a little worry about those two on the middle row, that they won't contrast enough with the fabric I've chosen for the sashing... will just have to wait & see on that one...

I've made a flying start on a project I just can't leave alone... my fabrics are the fat quarters I was sent from the lovely ladies of the Fat Quarter Birthday Club earlier in the year...

I'll let the pics do the talking...
After all my cutting, sewing & pressing... followed by more cutting, sewing & pressing...
Ta-Da! Yep, the non-quilt-maker is at it again!

Two borders will be added, & I just can't wait to watch a chick-flick while snuggled under it! I'm following this tutorial on Riley Blake Designs.

Thanks so much Chooky for having us all at The Shed over the weekend, I've totally enjoyed it!
I hope that you have many more years of happy sewing & friendship under its roof...

Now, it's time for Sunday night telly... is anyone else watching Mr Selfridge?

Lovely blocks and your quilt looks great Anthea. You have been very busy. I love watching Mr Selfridge too. I'm not sure about over your way, but it's annoying it's on so late here (doesn't finish until 11.45).
