No Stitching But Lovely Nails...

Thought I'd share my latest nails look... I wear (professionally applied) acrylic nails all the time because my natural nails are awful... it's fun to play with colours & designs!
Sometimes I think my hands are not very nice to look at, but when I think of all the hard work they do for me, I'm grateful for their 'character'...

They're a deep eggplant-y colour, with a rose-on-lattice stamp as a feature.
I'm a girl of few needs... nails done, greys painted over... happy me!

This weekend, I'm planning to get some cross stitching projects organised to work on & maybe sew a bit more on some zipper pouches... nothing exciting, but it's better than nothing!

♥ Have a Fab Weekend ♥

You're my kind of girl! Get those nails and hair done - top priority. It makes it easier to face the day when we look great, right?

I'd like to know how you sew with them too. Maybe you could try a sewing theme!

Oh My! You wouldn't want to see my nails. LOL I never wear nail polish and the only attention they get is when a nail breaks. I'm going to chip in with everyone else and ask how you managed to get anything done with gorgeous nails like that.

Great nails Anthea. I very rarely polish mine but I am lucky that I have always had strong nails - they only get trimmed when my thimble dosn't fit properly!

Nails looks lovely Anthea. I hate my hands, they have always looked old and wrinkly. I am ALWAYS trying different lotions and potions on my hands. I don't know why I do as they are quite expensive and I haven't really noticed change......

Gorgeous nails! I have gel nail polish applied every fortnight on my natural nails. It last 2 weeks which is great and no need for acrylics. I love wearing the dark colours and I always have one nail painted gold on each hand. A girl has to feel good.

As A lady that wears long nails I can say you get use to them. Mine are much longer and I do all types of needlecrafts. Your nail are very lovely! I do nails and I'm also a stylist. Most people do not know where the one nail different came from. I saw it many yrs ago in a fashion mag. A lady took a pic of her dogs nails to her nail tech and asked her to polish her nails like her dogs. The dog had one nail that was a different color, LOL! Never know where inspiration will come from. Wish I had saved that article!

Aren't they gorgeous! You must feel like a queen. My hands are of the work worn variety too (usually with broken nails) but on the occasions when I have put some work into them, I feel wonderful! Off to investigate the gel polish Ondrea mentioned.
