Woo Hoo, SSCS is a blogland highlight for me each year... & this year my parcel has come all the way from Dagmar in Germany!
For all the vans & trucks delivering building materials on our verge in the last few weeks, it was exciting to see a postal van stop & the guy actually walk right up to the front door with something for me.
So the ornament has been opened, & I just love it... I've long loved Nutcrackers in association with Christmas & this fellow in cross stitch is wonderful. Now to wait a few more sleeps until I can open the other goodies! Thank You Dagmar xo
My lovely blogging buddy Maria has sent me a fab little hexagon-shaped coaster/mug rug... I love it... I'm an avid user of such items & haven't ever had a Christmas one... thx again Maria!
On Friday evening, my DDs & I went to Perth to see 'The Lion King'... oh truly stunning production in every way... 'Cats' is coming up in a few months, might go see that too... but 'Ghost the Musical', I don't think so...
Today, instead of doing some Christmas preparations, I'm nursing myself at home & literally speechless... yes, somehow I've caught myself a cold... so my head feels like it's going to burst, & my throat is hot & scratchy, plus no voice! Good time for a blog catch-up, methinks.
No stitching to share at the moment, but I am pottering along with a couple of things.
So lovely to see so many blogs decorated up for Christmas, & lots of fun pics of swaps, gifts & social happenings... it's CERTAINLY looking like Christmas!

Your little nutcracker is lovely. I'm glad you enjoyed The Lion King, but I'm sorry you have a cold! I'm not feeling like Christmas is just next week! I think that once school finishes I will though!!

What a sweet ornament from your partner Dagmar. It's really pretty. I love the mug rug too - wish I could make these! I love the Christmassy design. It just needs a large mug of hot chocolate on it.
