'Piece Yourself Together'... The Heatwave Edition...

 HOT - HOT - HOT!
My part of Western Australia is getting some record-breaking temps right now... yuk!
Fortunately our air-con is fab, so that certainly makes the day easier.
Perfect for doing some indoor jobs I've been procrastinating about & getting the washing dry in double-double quick time.
The backyard is off-limits for the Site Manager at the moment, so I had to carry him across the road to the park for tinkies... can't have burnt paws!
And of course there's time for a little fabric play, which has produced a good number of pieces ready for EPP basting.

These are going to keep me busy for a while!

I hope you'll share your EPP project here... I'd love to see some more names... all the info can be found at the PYT tab up the top of the page...
The linky will close midnight on Thursday.

I'm melting Anthea!!!!
Thank god for air conditioned offices, one good reason for going to work on days like these. Although my son has to visit the dentist at 2.30pm today, so I am going to have to brave it and go outside, arghhhhhh

Great fabrics!

Hard to imagine the heat you are having - it's snowing and below freezing in northern Japan, where I am.

I don't envy you that heat, Anthea!

Yes! It's hot over here as well and do thank God for air-conditioning. I don't know what I would do without it. Nice assortment of fabric there and I notice a little blue creeping in.

Hello Anthea,

44 here for the next couple of days, drinking plenty of water. Love the fabrics you are using, especially the Eiffel Tower one.

Happy days.
Bev.

Take care of yourself with all that heat! Sounds like you're getting in some stitching while hibernating :) Barb,

Hope it cools down soon! We went south for a week, and had some lovely warm days. Then it turned cold and very windy. We're back home now, watching the snow fall again. Have fun with your hexies!

Oh you poor things. Last week was bad enough here and we weren't that hot...rotten humidity though. I hope you are chilling out with your hexies x

Not quite that warm here Anthea - mid 30's. Lots of pretty fabrics in that bundle of EPP

Oh dear, soooo hot there. I love the heat but not when it is extreme. I heard that W,A can expect around 50 degrees C in the next couple years. Clam shells are looking good. Hope you get some cool relief soon.

oh dear, I came earlier this week but the linky wasn't up and now this morning it looks like I've missed it again. I did have a post ready waiting to go to link in with you, but just haven't been able to get to bloggy land in those couple of days. If you have the option to add me, feel free - and thanks again for the hexie :)
