A Little EPP For The Week...

Or should that title read "Very Little EPP For The Week" ??!

There hasn't been much stitching going on here... I was going well with my work as I do each evening, but a few days ago, it came to a sudden halt... soreness in some joints of my right hand... particularly in the thumb & index finger... think it's a posture/technique thing.

Before that started, I'd made two more hexy flowers for Brown-Eyed collection... and of course progress on the Scrappy Hexy Quilt continues, with another section under construction.
Interestingly, I can comfortably embroider without a thimble... but EPP is is a no-go without one... this one has served me well... going to put a new one on my shopping list for the craft fair in May.
Thanks for dropping by... I guess I'll be non-stitching for a few more days!

Lovely work Anthea, and not good to hear about the hand. Hope you recover soon. Nothing so frustrating as wanting to stitch but not able to.

At least you managed some stitching before your hand gave up...
Sweet hexies and good progress on the Scrappy.

Oh dear! I can sympathise with you as my thumb and index finger give me grief a lot too. My index finger is quite bent these days LOL. I Have you tried Pain Away? I have found since being off sugar that I have improved . You managed to complete some lovely EPP.

Still loving your brown-eyed hexies! Sorry to hear about your hands. I thought it was only me but I see it's unfortunately you and others that have commented. Referring to Ondrea, no way can I give up my sugar in hopes of relief. I would be a bear to put up with! Hahaha! Then again I'm a bear when I can't stitch. No win for the hubby! *wink*

every bit is a step further.... I haven't seen those thimbles.... and will look out for it. I use a thimble all the time, my favourite is my Granny's old Dorcas one....

What a shame about your hand - hoping it is feeling better now. xx

I hope the pain in your thumb and finger isn't a sign of arthritis. Wishing you all the best.

That thimble looks to be a really useable one! I would love to find one like that - hope you can get a new one in May

Your stitches on your hexy flowers look great; as well as your Scrappy Hexy Quilt. I have been hand quilting on a little Amish pattern quilt and I have not been using thimbles. I must go slow and be careful; but my fingers do get so sore. I must find my missing thimbles. I have never tried the one you show; I think I might look for one and give it a try. I hope the soreness in your right hand will go away and you can continue to stitch.
