Blinded By The Light-ning...

I am posting this from mrHS work computer, which is very carefully monitored, so please just imagine that you see a pic of lightning right here!
On Tuesday night, we were hit by one heck of a thunderstorm and lightning show. A very scarygood old window-rattler! It went on for some hours through the night, and we also got a huge amount of rain. Whilst the rain was great for the gardens, our home computer modem got fried by lightning. None of us thought to unplug it, oh dear! We are now waiting for a new modem to be delivered to us.
I see that there are many lovely comments about my previous post, you are so kind... please be assured that I will reply to you all when I have my internet connection happening again.
Bye For Now... x

I heard about the Tuesday night storms on the news on Wednesday morning Anthea. We got a bit of rain & heard far away thunder but that was it North of the river. Lucky us & hope your modem doesn't take long to arrive. xx

Hello Anthea,

We had lightening strike a tree in our neighbours back yard Tuesday morning. I turned off the tv etc but didn't think about the phone and computer. Of course the hardrive didn't want to start. A transformer just outside our place all blew up they were working on it all day. That night we tried the computer again, it worked!!!

It certainly has been a weird week with the weather we have had. The rain was nice, but 18.5mls in a few minutes!!!

Have a wonderful weekend.
Bev.xoxo

Certainly been a wild time! I do hope you are up and running again quickly and that the wild weather gods leave you alone for a long while.
