Emus In Santa Hats...

This month for my '1 Xmas Item A Month' I have made up items from a panel I purchased last year...
tea towel... pot holder... there is an oven mitt too but it's not quite finished...
I think the fun Australian flora & fauna theme is quite cute and they were so easy to make.
I know they are a bit cheating, but I really need to make up a few things that I have in my Overload, which does include plenty of Christmas stuff...

Thanks Narelle for being our Elf CEO... now I look forward to seeing what the other Elves have made...
do you ever feel just a bit smug to be so organised making Christmas stuff during the year?!

Hello Anthea,

I didn't realise that fabric came in panels. I fell in love with this Aussie fabric when I found some in Spotlight. Must look out again for it. Great little gifts to put aside for Christmas.

Happy days.
Bev.

Intelligent use of resources ;) Besides hems take ages, all that folding and pressing and trying to keep the blasted machine from falling off the line as it is wont to do! So lovely aussie christmassy things :)
