Well the gail force winds & horizontal rains have finally stopped here... talk about a very late blast of winter... we didn't have it this bad even during the official season... bah...
It's been lovely to catch up on some blog reading this morning, & also prepare some pics to show you...
Of course being Wednesday, that means it's Hexy Time... Karen our One Flower Wednesday host has had a little blogging break over her summer, but she continued putting up the linky for those of us who are still making our hexy flowers... many thanks Karen...
Also, it's time for '1 Xmas Item A Month'... my items for this month are the little deco's that I featured in my previous post... thanks Narelle for hosting this fun way of making Christmas-themed items through the year..
I cannot go further in this post without showing you these.... I had to come good on a declaration that I made, in which I declared that "if the Fremantle Dockers get into the Grand Final, I shall get my nails done with purple" So look what I got done on Monday... we are a very excited home, waiting to see what Saturday brings for this team... they have had such a great season... & the two mad-keen fans in this family will be cheering at the top of their lungs!
I do wear acrylic nails all the time, but very rarely get 'look at me' polish done on them.
Oops, not sure how these spunky types ended up on my page... *wink*
Over the weekend, I finished another of the stitcheries for my Red Brolly Polka Dot Girls Quilt.
This block is called 'Daffodil Tea'...
There are a couple of boo-boo's, but by the time I realised what I had done, it was too late to unpick, so the boo-boo's will henceforth be known as Stitcher's Privilege; sounds nicer, don't you think?!
For those of you who wish to link up with Christmas Through The Year this month, you can do that from tomorrow... I look forward to seeing what's being made... & of course there will be a lovely little prize for one lucky participant.
