I have emerged from my sulking to share some of what's going on in my Sewing Space lately...
I can't show the whole finish here because it's Secret Sewing for my Birthday-Love Stash, so you will just have to trust me that it is indeed a fully finished item - full pics soon, I promise... & as it's been waiting since last year for me to sew it, it's going on my Sew It's Finished count too!
I forgot to post my hexy flower last week, so now I have two to share today for One Flower Wednesday...
And just in time for Spring, I have finished a Winter themed mini quilt... I made something very similar for the 12" Mini Quilt Swap recently, & just fell in love with the Winter Mate, a generous freebie from Michelle Ridgway Designs.
I have it displayed at the moment while we are still getting some cool weather...
Lastly, I am starting a new project... something that's a first for me... so I hope I will do OK with it...
yes, it's another sneaky-peek...
Progress pics soon!!
Thank You to all the lovelies who Commented their support & sympathy regarding my DMC thread problem, I really appreciate that. Next week, I will be giving further thought to the matter.
Welcome to my new Followers, it's lovely to have you here!
*~♥Happy Wednesday Everyone♥~*

I'm going to take the plunge and join one flower Wednesday, I want to make a quilt like the one on your header. The little quilt is adorable and that fabric is to die for!
I think a new project will help to divert your frustrations!

Love the wee Snowman.
The fabrics look gorgeous , and your flowers look beautiful as does the sneak peek, will look forward to seeing that:-)
Your winter themed mini quilt is beautiful Anthea.........if I wasn't knee deep in sock knitting, (excuse the pun), I would be very tempted back to my sewing machine for a little quilting. x

More gorgeous hexie blooms! The dark centres are really fab... wish I'd thought of that! Absolutely love your little Snowman mini. If he was mine I think he'd be sticking around to enjoy spring. Sorry about your DMC troubles.... that really sucks.
Two wonderful hexies. Never mind about the winter quilt in spring. Here winter is comming soon (after autumn).
You have a nice little quilt for next year.
Nice little flowers and such lovely redwork on the winter display!
Lots of loveliness here Anthea.
Love your winter mini. Have Michelle's pattern so will try to male one for next year. Maybe I need to make a Spring one first. I think I see some Vintage modern there. I am working on a project with it at the moment. Hugs......
Lovely mini-quilt, and your processes look intriguing :)

The thread would make me sulk too, how sad! Love the flowers and the winter mini.
Starting new projects is always exciting. Beautiful hexie flowers!
Love the closeup of your sneak peek....shows some nice stitching there! Your flowers are lovely and what a stunning mini with that stitchery!
Love your winter mini, I have Michelle's pattern and some of the fabric you've used so I see a copy cat edition happening I think if you don't mind me stealing your idea?? Sorry to hear about the DMC thread not being the correct shade match to the old red, nothing worse than discovering this after working on it for hours :( MMmmmm vintage modern fabrics I wonder what they'll end up being?? :) Barb.
I love the stitchery! Thanks for the prizes for FSNI this month!
