An unspoken Law Of Motherhood, is that almost invariably, your Progeny, with their big loving sharing hearts, will give you a thundering dose of their latest illness...
The By-Laws to that are:
1 - you will largely have to look after yourself;
2 - you will still have to run the household from the sickbed.
My Darling Boy Mr13 was on the verge returning to school after having a cold... & the day before that, POW!... I will spare you the gruesome details & just say I don't ever remember having a cold that was so severe; even the insides of my teeth were hurting - yes, the insides! - apparently due to their proximity to the sinuses.

A doctor appointment was had, and he informed me that "my dear, what you have is just a good ole rock n roll cold"... You don't say!
So today I feel like my body is finally winning the battle... while I still don't feel great, I do feel revived enough to finally start on the New Project mentioned in my previous post... but there is washing to attend to before that, surprise surprise...

I just scraped in to get my name on the list to be part of the Secret Santa Christmas Swap, hosted by Chookyblue. This year she is ably assisted by her pal Googy Girl at Too Many Eggs.
Thank You Chooky for taking my name so late, I promise to be a good swapper...
Last year was my first SSCS; my gifts went to Gracie in Arizona, & I received gifts sent from Anne Heidi in Norway. These two lovely ladies have differing crafty interests, & I still visit their blogs; I love to see what they are making.
Now I am looking forward to sewing for my 2013 partner...
