Our Swap Mumma Cheryll has done it again... co-ordinating such a fun swap... Thank You Cheryll x
This year I had the pleasure of posting to Lynda, who blogs at Heavens To Bettsy... & amazingly she was assigned to send to me.
Thank you so much Lynda for your gorgeous gifts... the very pretty bag will be put to immediate use & I will be sure to tell any admirers that you made it for me♥ And of course, those little extras are so lovely too... normally I share any foodie gifts I receive, but not those received in swaps...
Isn't my lady so pretty?... Lynda how did you know I dress like that all the time? LOL!
Here's what I sent to Lynda... a hanging heart embellished with various laces & trims, heart-shaped post-it notes, strawberries & cream lollies, and a wheel of sewing pins with heart-shaped heads.
Speaking of "I Do", here's a little HibiscusTrivia for you...
Valentine's Day marks the day that mrHS proposed to me... back in 1993, a month before I turned 21... yes I was just a baby!
MrHS late father was born on Feb 14, and to highlight that date in his life, he was given two middle names... one of them being... VALENTINE.
I wish everyone a lovely Valentine's Day, may you get to spend some time with someone who is special to you.

I have finished the stitching of the Travelling Pattern, & have decided to make it up into a simple little pillow to sit on the shelves in my Sewing Space... pics soon.
AND, oh excitement, the holiday for my Postage Stamp Quilt is over & she is ready for me to bring home! I am a bit nervous about her; I just hope that I like what I asked the quilter to do. (can't you tell I am still new at this?) She did show it to her Tuesday morning sewing group, & apparently they admired it, so perhaps I should feel that to be a good sign? I still haven't made the binding yet, so I'd better hurry up; I sure am not going to let her sit unfinished now I have come this far! I quite enjoy the stage of doing the binding on something, because it means the project is almost finished.

Very lovely swap gifts! From both ends. I love sewing the binding on my quilts, because it's relaxing, and because it means I have a new quilt! I'll be checking back tomorrow for pictures. Don't be so nervous about the quilting!!
