Last week, I dug out a few cross stitch designs I've been wanting to start... because of course I have nothing else that needs to be finished or progressed... & I needed to do something about the mental slump I've been in...
Not having such easy access to my sewing machine these days, means I need to have a few hand-work projects to keep me sane happy... I needed to stock up on supplies before I could get started.
Stopped at two shops & this is the end result:
While keeping an eye on the football, I sorted the threads into their various projects:
41 skeins divided into 5 sets... yep, 5 new projects coming up! Well, actually 6, but I already had the thread I needed.
Told you I went NUTS! But I didn't stuff anything in my cheeks to carry it home...
Here's a start
This happy boost is working for me... what gives you a happy boost??
I don't always take Miss Pfaff to Patch group, but I think I'm going to have to do it, given that I don't want to bore my readers with endless cross stitch pics!

Mr15's soccer season is over now, so I have my Friday evenings back again... I'm looking forward to resuming some FNSI & FNWF action...
Plus, I've joined a new blog, care of Kaye at Kitten Stitching...
The idea is to dig out an old WIP or UFO & spend an evening working on it, so it doesn't remain a WIP or UFO forever... just what I need to get me back to some neglected projects.

Spring is well & truly in the air here... I'm eagerly throwing open as many doors & windows as I can... I've never waited so keenly for sunshine & breeze!

You go girl!! Hey, and what's boring about cross stitch photos!!
Good for you! You deserve it. I love the butterfly print. It would make a nice clutch or blouse.
Well, you're certainly going to be busy Anthea. I love your Santa project.
Nah, nothing nuts about that! The more thread and fabrics the better. LOL Have fun girl!

Oh I soooooo here you when it comes to finally opening some doors & windows!!! I'm hoping tomorrow is fine and sunny so I can do some spring cleaning ( day off work lol)! I think it's the days of ongoing cold and less sunshine that puts us in the doldrums down here!
You sure have sorted some threads for many projects...
Great idea to take the Phaff to Patch, that way you can get your machine projects done....
