'Australia Day Swap' for 2018... I've Been Spoilt!

Thank you to the ladies who joined me in the 'Australia Day Swap' for 2018... it's been so good to see the various parcels make their way to their recipient & each of you made such fun selections of items!
In this swap, we send 5 items; each item starting with a letter from the word AUSTRALIA.

My parcel arrived from lovely Jo, who blogs over HERE.
Seriously, Jo has blown me away with her generosity & I just love every item.
She sent me an item representing every letter from AUSTRALIA, not just the 5, lucky lucky me!
Love the patriotic wrapping!

 Here's my goodies:
A = Aussie Apron (aprons are a must-wear for me!)
U = Unknown item
S = Star Whisk
T = Thimbles (brilliant, because I rarely hand-stitch without one!)
R = Rotary Blade & Ruler
A = Australian Greeting Card
L = Lollies
I = Ice Cube Tray (love the Aussie shapes!)
A - Aussie Flag Can Cooler

So the Unknown Item... I had seen these little whats-its in kitchen shops but never known what they were, so what fun it was to have one sent to me from Jo...
WELL, it's a ladel clip... & I can't tell you how handy that's going to be... it will encourage me to keep my spoon/ladle/stirrer near the pot I'm actually cooking in, rather than absentmindedly plopping it down somewhere else in the kitchen! I do that often, LOL
 Thank you again Jo, I really appreciate the thought & wonderful ideas of gifts in what you've sent to me.

I put together some goodies for Susan:
S = Scented Candles
T = Thread Snips
I = Instant Hand Sanitiser
L = Leaf Print Fabric
A = Australia Day toothpick flags

Please do go by the blogs of the other ladies who joined in. Their posts about this swap can be found by clicking on their name: Kaylee, Susan & Jo.
Lyn joins us each year too; she doesn't blog, but her items sent & received can be see on Kaylee's blog & Jo's blog.
Our national holiday gives me a moment to reflect that I'm just so glad to have been born into a country of freedom & relative peace. I have a LOT to be grateful for as a resident of this amazing Wide Brown Land.
